It's made with 108 gray quartz beads that have been individually hand knotted on bold red cord. We got to watch as every bead was knotted and the beautiful maroon tassel was wound and strung by hand. Each process takes considerable time, skill, and care. The mala is finished with an antiqued brass Cheppu pendant that
